Lilly for Target

Okay let's talk about the epic disappointment that was Lilly for Target. My sister and law & I were at our local Target (after a quick Dunkins run) at 7:45am. We got a prime parking spot and were there long before those doors open. There were many people waiting at the front entrance but we parked around back thinking we knew something other people did not. Boy were we wrong. They did not open the back door until 5 precious minutes after the front. By the time we made it over to the Lilly section this is what it looked like...

Then there were women (who were not acting like Ladies) with overflowing carriages taking things out of other people's carriages when they were not looking!! I was in total shock, it took everything in my power not to give them a piece of my mind. Then I realize if these women were so desperate as to steal from other women's carriages then I should promptly shut my trap because who knows where they draw the line.

We stuck around for a few minutes to see if people would put things back but no such luck. My Mom happened to be in NH at the time so we convinced her to pop into the Target in Nashua and they were also completely sold out! Better luck next time!

Did you score any great finds?

Making your baubles last

I am a total sucker for statement jewelry, anytime I see a new piece I can always justify the purchase. The down side to buying statement pieces is that they rarely last. The tend to tarnish, especially the gold pieces which deterred me from buying for a while. Not to worry I have a solution!

This spray works miracles! You can buy it at Michael's or any craft store, follow the instructions on the can. My suggestion is to do your spraying outside and make sure they dry completely prior to wearing.

The pieces I have sprayed are as good as new- I highly recommend the spray, such an inexpensive solution to "big" problem! :)

The perfect wedding accessory

If you have checked out my Pinterest you will know I am obsessed with the fascinator trend!

Two very dear friends of our are getting married (we are SO happy for them!) in October and I thought what better accessory than a Kate Middleton inspired fascinator! It helps the wedding is in London so I won't totally stick out :)

Here are a few that I liked, and just a few Kate, I mean HRH,  wore that inspired it all! One designer I am particularly enamored by is Ella Gajewska she has so many beautiful hats on her site and also has an Etsy shop!

Anyone else on the Facinator band wagon?  Or just obsessed with Kate Middleton? :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  We had a fun filled day that included an egg hunt,  baskets, breakfast & dinner thanks to my Parents! I even got to go without tights today, spring has sprung in Boston! Wohoo

We also got to meet my sister's new puppy, Gus. He is one handsome boy who loves to play with his cousins!

We hope you had a fabulous weekend with your family and friends :)

My next project is planning Clovis' first birthday which is next weekend! How did my baby get so old?
